introduction

I suppose i should write an introduction.

I created this blog to doccument the decoration of my soon to be appartment.

in little over a month the love of my life (Llewellyn, or Llew for short. Spew when im feeling creative) and myself are moving into our own little love nest. as soon as the awkward "do you want to move in with me?" dancing around the bush conversation was over i became a woman on a mission. those who know me know my obsessions; the colour green, octopus tentacles, terrariums, moss, vino, op shops, lady gaga and getting fucked up. true to form i am going to attempt to incorporate as many of these factors into my home; thus came the planning of my appartment.

right off the bat i KNEW it was going to contain a lot of green. Llew knew it too. we figured our colours would be white, black and green. not just one green, a cacophony of the hue that i adore so much; olive green, bottle green, apple green, pistachio, mint, emerald, lime green, jade, British racing green & so on & so forth. being my stubborn self i delegated Llew the job of choosing the furniture & having free reign on the technology. i demanded neutral hues (black and white) and minimalist.

so begins my journey into green, which will be doccumented by this blog. i will be posting things ive made, things ive bought, things ive found, things i love, things that inspire me and anything else i damn well please.
